Who's Afraid of Farabi? - June 8th 2009

The play was ok but... yeah, draggy. Nevertheless, Nani (Dr. Khair) and Raqib (Ah Lee) managed to wow the crowd with their pretty powerful acting. I think my acting sucked, seriously. I didn't make full use of my gestures.






What I like most about the experience of acting in this play is not about acting itself, it's about having the chance to meet and get to know the people whom I never thought I would be friends with. I'm referring to the cast and the people behind the scene.. well, the cast, especially. I had a great time hanging out with them and knowing them. Yes, we knew each other before the play but we weren't close at all. Although I mingle quite easily among my coursemates (since there's only a number of us), I still have my own group of friends and they have theirs' so I guess the play somehow made or brought us together.

my sisters resting after the majlis pengebumian

On Wednesday, 10th of June, my one and only grandmother left, passed away sometime after maghrib at her home on her bed (since she was bed-ridden) in my aunt's arms, who had been taking care of her for 2 years. I was chit-chatting with a friend for hours until my sister called and broke the news. I cried after the phone call.. but only for a while. I was sad but strong at the same time :). She will be in my prayers.

Sister's Engagement - June 13th 2009

Kaklang is engaged to Azril. Tahniah kakak ku yang tinggi lampai! :D dan tahniah Azril yang tinggi lampai itu juga! :D :D The engagement ran very smoothly. I think it was perfect despite the hot weather.. but everything else was PERFECT lah, serious gua kata! Lauk kambing haritu sedapppppppppp. Semua lauk sedapppppppp.

All of the hantarans were designed by my mum. :)
